Development Council

The IMH Development Council is a group of dedicated and highly motivated volunteers who help Iroquois Memorial Hospital grow and expand. Through their fund-raising and friend-raising activities, IMH has successfully undertaken major building projects such as the Outpatient Center and the Helipad, Ambulance Entrance and Patient Elevator, the Surgery Center and most recently the remodeled Iroquois Regional Health Center.  The Development Council raised over $5 million for these projects.

The next endeavor the Development Council is tackling is raising funds to purchase equipment used by Emergency Services.

The Equipment includes a new Ambulance, 2 defibrillators and 5 ambulance stretchers. The cost of this project is approximately $155,000.

Among the Development Council's other activities are educational events for the community such as Financial Planning Seminars and health-related activities such as the Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon and Heart Healthy Luncheon.
